Your visibility score is the single most important metric in QentrixAI. Learn how it's calculated and what it means for your brand's presence in AI search.
The Visibility Score is a composite metric (0-100) that represents how prominently your brand appears in AI-generated responses across all monitored providers. It's designed to give you a single, actionable number that reflects your overall AI presence.
The visibility score is computed from three primary components, each weighted based on its importance to overall brand presence:
How often your brand appears in AI responses relative to the total number of queries monitored. More mentions = higher contribution to your score.
(mentions / total_queries) × weightWhere in the AI response your brand appears. Earlier mentions (at the beginning of a response) are weighted more heavily than later mentions. This reflects the prominence of your brand in the answer.
How consistently your brand appears across different AI providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.). Brands that appear across multiple providers score higher than those appearing in only one.
Your visibility score falls into one of four ranges, each indicating a different level of AI presence:
Your brand rarely appears in AI responses. This may indicate limited online presence or that AI models haven't learned about your brand yet.
Your brand appears occasionally. You have some AI presence but there's significant room for improvement, especially in competitive queries.
Your brand appears regularly in relevant AI responses. You're well-represented but may be missing opportunities in certain topic areas.
Your brand dominates AI responses in your category. You're frequently mentioned and often positioned prominently across providers.
Your visibility score can fluctuate based on several factors:
The "position index" in QentrixAI refers to the observed order of mention within an AI response, not a search engine ranking position. AI responses don't have rankings like traditional search results.
For example, if an AI response mentions "Apple, Samsung, and Google" when asked about smartphone brands, Apple has position 1, Samsung has position 2, and Google has position 3 for that specific response.
